Research On Legal Issues In The Development Of Chinese Film Industry

Since joining the WTO, with the development of the Chinese film industry and the promulgation of series of policies and regulations. The business qualifications of Chinese film industry have gradually reduced and the film industry’s shackles of policy and institutional barriers are being gradually eliminated. Whether it is from the movie production or from the box office revenue, Chinese film industry are showing a trend triumph. It should be said that since China’s accession to the WTO the film industry is moving into the road to recovery.But at the same time, we should clearly recognize that the development of China’s film market is far from mature with respect to the developed countries. Under the background of WTO and international economic growing integration today, one of the most urgent tasks is how to break through itself, formulate appropriate industry development strategy and improve relevant legal system.The current "Copyright Law" and the ongoing "Film Industry Promotion Law" has been established for the film industry for a very reasonable legal framework, but some of the specific systems still need to constantly improve.Thus to study how to promote the development of Chinese film industry, analyze legal regulations of foreign film industry, optimize the structure of the film industry, and combined with the rules of WTO to adapt to the rapid development of the international situation. And puts forward the legal suggestions for the development of Chinese film industry. From the perspective of law, this paper has a research on legal issues in the development of Chinese film industry.
