In recent years, the topic of happiness seems to become a focus of the whole society overnight. We are often asked "Are you happy in daily life?" or discuss the so-called "Theory of eudemonia". As the key component of happiness index, professional happiness has become the focus topic of practice and academics. While the realization of professional happiness is influenced by various social factors, in these social factors, the occupational stress has become one of the crucial elements that many investigators focus on in recent years.In this paper, the relationship between occupational stress of grassroots cadres and their professional happiness is explored and personality traits are introduced as the moderator, furthermore, the regulatory role between occupational stress and professional happiness of grassroots cadres is researched. At the theoretical level, we propose a framework of a professional relationship that explains the influence of the occupational stress of professional happiness from the perspective of organizational behavior, while the introduction of the role of personality traits as a result of adjusting variables to study occupational stress grassroots cadres of occupational well-being, and analyze the effect of personality or each dimension in the process of adjustment. At the practice level, recommendations for organization department to relieve occupational stress of grassroots cadres and improve professional happiness are provided.This paper has conducted on the relationship of occupational stress, personality and professional happiness, and constructed the relationship model of professional pressure, personality and professional happiness. Selecting the grassroots cadres in Yuncheng city as research samples, through the questionnaire investigation and empirical analysis, we have learned that grassroots cadre professional pressure at a relatively high level and professional happiness at the average level. Moreover professional pressure, personality and professional happiness of grassroots cadre are significantly correlated. The effect of different dimensions of occupational stress and professional happiness is different, there is a negative correlation of role ambiguity dimension, interpersonal dimension, the dimension of social and family, the dimension of work overload and professional happiness, while the other two dimensions, personal development, trust and support have positive influence on professional happiness significantly. Meanwhile, the influence of different dimensions of occupational stress and professional happiness is different. There are positive and negative aspect. The grassroots cadres of different personality traits also have different impacts on professional happiness. On the basis of empirical analysis, considering occupational stress of grassroots cadres and different dimensions of personality traits which have positive and negative influence on professional happiness, we have put forward the corresponding research proposals. It is necessary to maintain the positive pressure of grassroots cadres, reduce the negative pressure, simultaneously, guide cadre’s personality traits correctly, and improve the sense of conscientiousness and extraversion level, thereby enhancing professional happiness of cadres.
