The Research Of Government’s Response To Network Group Events

In recent years, along with the rapid development of the Internet in China, the network brings people more freedom of expression and greatly convenient access to information, which makes the network become the important channel and platform of the public comments and participating in the democratic supervision. Meanwhile, with the network developing rapidly, it brings many sudden impacts and challenges in the transition period of China, which makes lots of social contradictions and interests claim expose in the public vision to cause some online mass incidents. Due to the improper disposal, response to some network group events, the incidents turned to real mass incidents, which not only has a bad influence on the social stability, and also makes the government face many challenges and impact. And the government has been tested in the public administration and the Government’s public management ability in the various subjects.At present, the network group events have attracted the wide attention of scholars both at home and abroad. Many scholars studied the network group events from different angles respectively. But some researches are still immature, especially the researches about the strategy on the government’s response to the network group events. The study also needs to be further deepened, in order to reveal the realistic results constantly.The paper is based on the predecessor’s research, and chooses the research aspect of government dealing with the network group events. The paper starts from the related concepts and theories of the network group events, analyzes the present situation of our government’s response to the network group events, analyzes achievements and problems of our government in response to the network group events, and makes an analysis of the reason of problems. At the same time, the paper uses the researches on the network group events at home and abroad for reference to analyze our country government’s strategies to the network group events. This paper aims to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the government’s solution towards the network group events.
