Although with the development of times, the end-of-life care is getting more and more attention around the world, in China, the improvement of the service quality touching upon the end-of-life care keeps progressing at a slow pace. Thus, the main subject of this research is to put forward some feasible suggestions on the work of the end-of-life care service in our country. The research approach is called the Process-Event Analysis which is one form of the interview method. Based on searching and reading of papers, we conducted a case study of one of the hospices in Beijing, called A hospital, interviewing with one doctor, one nurse, one patient, one relative of a patient, and two volunteers, obtaining insights, attitudes, and advice in the depth of their hearts referring to the end-of-life care in our country, rebuilding the interview records with stories, doing analysis and eventually drawing conclusions. The results of this research include the following two aspects:we could tell that the application of the Process-Event Analysis approach on the study of the end-of-life care is not only practicable but important; we proposed constructive, concrete, and feasible suggestions for the development of the end-of-life care in China.
