A Research On Risk Prevention Countermeasures Of Social Stability In Rural Areas Of Central China Central China’s Rural Areas

Stability has always been our major problem, Social stability in the rural areas is not only of great impotence for china’s new rural construction and modernization but also an impotent prerequisite and foundation to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The rural areas in our country are vast in territory and big in population. Its stability has a direct influence on our country’s economic development and determines the stability and tranquility of our whole country, so it is of great impotence to maintain the stability of the rural areas. Nowadays, with the rapid growth of the economy, the main interests of the rural society are becoming more and more diversified which may become the potential risks to harm the harmony and stability of the rural society.In this paper, central China’s rural areas were chose as the research object, S village was selected as the example., and by analyzing the social stability risks of the rural areas that exist in central china, the author proposed the risks prevention measures. The paper consists of four parts, the first part discusses the basic concepts and theories related to the central Region’s rural social risks and put forward his own views by considering and combining others’basic researches. In the second part, provided references of the research on the social risks in the rural areas in central china by giving a detailed analysis of the basic situation of the S village, the sources of social risks and the efforts that S village has made to maintain the social stability. The third part thoroughly analyzed the risks that harm the social stability in rural areas in central china by considering the actual situation of S village and the central area of china. The fourth part proposed relevant measures according to the risks which include building a sound decision-making mechanism for risk assessment in major projects, strengthening public participation and coordination mechanism for risk prevention, making village affairs public, improving the social security system in rural areas and smoothing the interest expressing mechanism for farmers. All of these measures are made to inspire farmers to express their ideas and suggestions to improve the social harmony and stability.China’s socialist modernization is in a critical period, to ensure that China’s economy is sustainable, steady and healthy as well as to ensure that Chinese people are living and working in peace and contentment, we must pay more attention to the development of rural areas, work hard to maintain social harmony and stability in the rural areas, so that our reform and development will be firm and thorough despite the difficulties we face and achieve the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
