India-Africa relationship is one of the world’s most important bilateral relations andoccupies an important position in today’s world. In fact, India and Africa have a specialaffection. From the history, the India-Africa relationship stronger than China-Africarelationship. Because India and Africa are located just in the west of the Indian Ocean, andthe east of Indian Ocean. In ancient times, there is a close association of non-Indian, they aregood neighbors to each other. To the colonial period, the non-Indian relationship is more likea friend, on the road to support the pursuit of mutually independent. Today, the India-Africarelations develop into a closer partnership. Since the new century, India to accelerate the paceof the pursuit of power, the desire to further develop the economy, improve the image of theirgreat country. In the process of India’s major powers in Africa increasingly important factor.Africa not only has a wealth of rare and valuable oil and gas and other natural resources, butin recent years, seeking peace, stability and development trend of enhancement. Politicalunion continue to promote rapid economic growth, stabilization of the security situation ingeneral, more active and pragmatic diplomatic position in the world strategic pattern wassignificantly improved. Africa’s position in today’s changing international strategic patternbased on all the world’s major powers began to strengthen layout Africa, seize the highground. India with its language, geography, history and other advantages of proximity, tobuild India-Africa Forum Summit platform that enables the development of India-Africapartnership impressive. Africa is the fate of the community solidarity. At present, theinternational situation is undergoing profound and complex changes, China-Africa relationsare faced with both unprecedented opportunities, but also put to the test many new situationsand new problems. This part of India-Africa relations in thecolonial period as a starting point, combing the development context of India-Africa relations.Same as the colonial period, is a close friend of India-Africa relations, the two sides areconducting national independence movement, support each other; Cold War, India and Africainto a friendly neighbor relations during this period, India and Africa exchanges increased,although not a colonial intimacy, but the two sides are also a pair of friendly neighbors; afterthe Cold War, India to adjust its policy toward Africa, to meet the " look East Africa", thetrend, the rapid development of bilateral relations, India-Africa Forum Summit a milestone,marking the formation of the India-Africa partnership.Part II: India-Africa partnership between the main content and features. WhichIndia hopes to get the necessary energy to national economic development in Africa, butAfrica is dependent on capital, technology and personnel training in India; soft powerdiplomacy demands. India launched diplomatic, development of soft power India-Africapartnership is the best assurance of soft power diplomacy in foreign relations; considernational security. India has always regarded Africa as their own backyard, so the developmentof India-Africa partnership is also to safeguard national security needs.Part IV: Analysis of the relationship between India-Africa partnership. First, the imageof political power, economic interests and national security aspects elaborated theachievements of non-Indian partnership. Secondly, dig factors restricting the developmentof India-Africa partnership, including the big countries in Africa, competition, the strength ofthe Indian economy and the political system as well as unrest in Africa’s development policyand so on. Finally, the non-Indian partnership will predict the rapid development in the newcentury in the competition cooperation.In short, the development of India-Africa partnership interests of both. Through thestudy of non-Indian partnership, we have found a channel for non-Indian partnershipdevelopment: strengthening the Indian non-communication and dialogue, the establishmentof strategic communication mechanism institutionalized; extensive participation ininternational mechanisms, the use of multilateral channels to resolve friction; continue topromote economic reforms to enhance the international influence of non-Indian.
