Research On Core City Services Functional Structure Chinese Cities

Globalization, information age, central city service function gradually become the driving force of urban economic development instead of production. Under the background of rapid development of urbanization in requirement of cities competition and cooperation, the cities group has become the main structure of city advancing in China. Research the core city service function structure of cities group has a vital meaning for clarification of city property, develop scientific development plan and give a reasonable urbanization pattern. This research concentrates comparison and evaluation on23core city service functions of cities groups in China.The thesis contains following chapter:The first and second chapters introduce the background, definition and technology. And give a clear view of the researches in city function all over the world.The third chapter concentrates on both cities group and core city. Analyze the development of third industrial structure and existing problems; service structure development and existing problems in23cities groups and34core cities to make an initial analysis and judgment to the economic development phases of the core city of cities group.The fourth chapter contains two parts. The first part is enthusiastic on definition and research method in city service functions and service structure. The second part concentrates on dynamic analysis and research on city and career view of service function structure, spatial function and hierarchy structure of the core city.The fifth chapter using compete method to analyze the dynamic changing of core city service function structure, spatial structure and hierarchy structure of cities group of2003and2011.The last chapter gives the conclusions and some further comments.
