With the growing process of economic globalization and political pluralism, especially with our country’s reform and opening-up process being deepened in an all-round way as well as the continuing development of the modernization programme of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, the national theory has become the point at issue for people to explore and study. They mainly include the national ideologies of Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Augustine in ancient Greek and Roman times; the national ideologies of Thomas Aquinas, Marsilea in the Middle Ages’Europe; the national ideologies of Machiasport, Hobbs, Locke, Spinoza in the Renaissance period; the national ideologies of Montesquieu, Rousseau, Bentham, kant in the Enlightenment period, as well as the national ideologies of Hegel and Spenser and others in19th century’s capitalist period in Europe.The third part is about Marxist national ideology.(1) The historical evolution of Marxist and Engels national ideology.
