Research On China’s Socialist Ecological Civilization Construction Since The Reform And Opening Up

With the constant growth of global economy, the natural environment on which human beings depend have been severely damaged, while both the protection of ecological environment and the construction of ecological civilization have aroused much attention all over the world. As a developing country, China has made accomplishments that have attracted worldwide attention in the process of reform and opening up. In particular, amazingly rapid economic development has been achieved. However, China is facing great difficulties in development owing to consequent environmental pollution, resource shortage and excessive development and so on. China’s socialist ecological civilization construction is a critical decision made by the Communist Party of China according to China’s needs for future development under the circumstance that it reviews basic national conditions from a new strategic perspective and China encounters environmental problems in terms of economic growth. The research on this topic is helpful for solving plenty of environmental problems that China is facing, seeking an approach for human beings’harmonious development with the nature and implementing scientific outlooks on development. Socialist ecological civilization construction is of great significance for realizing " Chinese dreams " of great rejuvenation.In this paper, the scientific concept of development, based on the analysis and research achievements sort of ecological civilization on the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics and ecological civilization since the reform and opening up for a more systematic study. Elaborated by Marx, for the construction of ecological civilization Engels ecological significance of the idea of the development process of review and analysis of specific issues building socialism with Chinese characteristics and ecological civilization construction of ecological civilization faces, indicating the importance of building a socialist ecological civilization and urgency, proposed the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics to promote ecological civilization practical measures so as to achieve sustainable development and build a harmonious socialist society provides a theoretical and policy support.This paper studies China’s socialist ecological civilization construction and is divided into five parts as follows:Part1is Introduction, where the significance of the topic and the research status home and abroad are analyzed. Meanwhile, innovations and deficiencies of this paper are summarized.Part2illustrates concept of ecological civilization, causes of the emergence of Marxist ecological thought and its connotations. Then, its directive significance for China’s socialist ecological civilization is pointed out.Part3analyzes the development and specific situation of China’s socialist ecological civilization construction since the reform and opening up, proposing problems that China faces in ecological civilization construction.Part4mainly discusses the analytical results of aforementioned parts and concludes solutions.In Part5, conclusions are made.This part is a summary of the research results made in this paper, raised the importance of ecological civilization in China’s economic construction in this view.
