Anthropological Research Migrant Herdsmen Life Changes

The paper takes the herdsmen who left the town to city as an example, Select the important factors of production and life from the perspective of cultural change. Then analyzes the life change and culture change and culture adaptation of herdsmen during their urbanization process.This paper consists of three parts:introduction、text and conclusion. The part of introduction summarizes the background of the dissertation, research objective and significance, the current research status and the theories and methods applied. The first chapter mainly introduces the investigation points and situation of herdsmen entering city. The second chapter mainly discusses the changes of economic production way about the shepherds who seek job or do business in city, at the same time analyzes their transitions and income hierarchy with examples.The third chapter discusses the social life style changes of herdsmen among urban migrants, some examples are given to show changes about their methods of production, transfer of labor force, leisure time and social relations. The fourth chapter discusses the cultural lifestyle changes about city herdsmen, illustrates cultural lifestyle changes in the field of personal and collective with examples.The conclusion made a summary of this paper and put forward the problems of herdsmen urbanization and the author’s viewpoints.During the nomads go into the city, as constantly changing of its economic、 social and cultural life and so on. The Mongolian traditional nomadic culture left their survival environment. During the new environmental heritage of the city, the culture rupture and cultural acculturation appears. After the nomads go into city, as its production of lifestyle changes led to the labor surplus and less income and increase in support. Thus their economic life enter into poverty. During the nomads go into the city, it is several change such as space and personal views that cause the changes of the Mongolian traditional culture.This paper from the perspective of anthropology to analysis the life change of the Inner Mongolia Siziwangqi Baiyinchaoketu town nomads that their pasture is used by Beijing military area command and training base. Proposed after the nomads go into city bring into problem and the author’s point of view about this question and the suggestion.
