The Cold War was definitely one of the most important events in the twentieth century. When the Second World War just ended,the Cold War was started,affecting two camps distinguished by ideology:the US-led capitalist camp and the socialist camp headed by the Soviet Union.Moreover,as suffering from centuries of internal and external power,China had a hundred things to be undertaken while infected by the Cold War,had to be involved. In addition,the Cold War not only affected the political,economic, cultural, military, etc., but also all aspects of the whole world, especially on the sport.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the hegemony of the United States and the Soviet Union, the Chinese sports shineed in the world sports arena. In the context of the Cold War,sports decision-making is particularly important. Our study is based on news historical (particularly in the newspapers at that time-based, such as "People’s Daily","New Sports", etc.),history,political science methods in the context of the Cold War to analyze and explore, comb seek to explore, discuss shows insight. We proposed the elaboration of the problem and significance, and described the overview of the background of the Cold War and its relationship with China, with particularly emphasis on, combing and Analysis of Historical Change and the political implications of the Chinese sports decision-making and research during the Cold War. Finally, with the analysis of historical and political, and China’s future sports decision-making, we forecast the future of China’s sports decision-making so as to bring a theoretical reference for the future of China’s sports. Combing historical analysis and review of law on the decision-making of the Chinese sports, we concluded that:(1) During the Cold War, China tooken an skillfull sports decision-making strategy and positive attitude to handle the relations with the Cold War bipolars-United States and the Soviet Union. China also tried to promote diplomatic relations with Third World. Such efforts generateed certain influence on the United States and the Soviet Union.(2) During the Cold War, Mao Zedong, a wise Chinese leader, actively expanded channels to participate international sports and successfully improved political relationships based on sports.(3) Deng Xiaoping as a second-generation leader, actively and steadily inheritede and developped Mao Zedong’s decision-making stratedy. He proposed the famous views:"Peace and development are the themes of the times", which greatly facilitated the returning of China’s sports into the Olympic family in1990, the first time comprehensive international sports competition-the Asian Games, was held in Beijing, China.(4) During the Cold War, sports, just as a political vassal, was always tagged by Therefore, the politicalization of sports was inevitalbe in the Cold War. For the above conclusions, some suggestions and research prospects are provided.
