Shenyang City Junior Table Tennis Athletes Train Present Situation And Countermeasures

The competition is actually a competitive sport reserve talent competition. The training forreserve talents of youth table tennis plays a crucial role in a long-term and stable development.The quality of reserve talents is one of the important factors that decides to level and status oftable tennis. Based on taking the part of athletes, coaches and managers in Shenyang as theresearch object, by using literature, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics,logic analysis and such as other five methods, the paper makes comprehensive analysis to unitarydevelopment situation of Shenyang youth table tennis reserve talents. Research conclusions areas follows:1) The age structure of the coaches who are engaged in reserve talents training workin Shenyang is reasonable, however, the structure of both knowledge education are low. And thetraining is not scientific enough.2) Unreasonable percentage in players’ playing style appears asless and less chop-attack type and straight cricket-smash type. Athletes’ attitude are positive,while the insufficient training and learning time, weak basic skills has become the mainproblems in training for themselves. Bad learning atmosphere, large percentage of training timein time allocation are the main influence factors to athletes culture study.3) The selection oftable tennis athletes is not quite scientific due to it is completed by coach’s intuitive experience.4)The development request of athletes in our city cannot be satisfied for less chance to participatein the competition, limited scope in participating, less participants and monotonous game set.4）5) capital scarcity used in the cultivation of youth table tennis in our city seriously affecting thedevelopment of reserve talents of table tennis.
