Of course in primary and secondary schools, music is an notable art course. it played a vitalrole in cultivating students ’ sentiments and humanistic qualities. It also can stimulate the cerebralcortex to regulate brain function and promote children’s sense of organization function, so as toimprove the development of their intelligence, it is an indisputable fact. Scientific research hasalso shown that children who learn music at the early stage have more left hemispheric brainvolume than the general children, their intelligence can be more comprehensive development, atthe same time in the process of learning music, children’s emotions are adjusting and get pleasure,so their emotional intelligence and integrity have been developing healthily.Music education itself is the important content of the quality-oriented education. In order tofully implement all-round quality education in primary and secondary schools, we must focus onmusic education. Since the new China was founded, primary and secondary school musiceducation have gradually pay attention to. with the implementation of new course standard inprimary and secondary school music education (experimental manuscript)in2001issued by theMinistry of education, the development of music education have entered a fast track. However,we would also like to see that, from the whole, relative to the other primary and secondary schoolcurricula, the development of music education is still lagging behind, as reflected by the level ofattention among teachers, and teaching philosophy, software and hardware investment, and so on,which, if not addressed, will not only affect the comprehensive development of the students, whilealso restricting the overall level of education in China. Accordingly, we need to study the currentstatus for primary and secondary school music education system and analyze these issues to putsforward the solution plans to provide intellectual support for better and faster development ofprimary and secondary school music education.As a "national historical and cultural city", Ganzhou city has a long history, and profoundcultural atmosphere. It is the birthplace of the Jiangxi culture in China, and because of its largeHakka population a unique Hakka culture was formed with diversified, content-rich non-materialcultural heritage, such as Xingguo folk songs,YuDu suona, tea-leaf picking opera in southernJiangxi, folk songs of she nationality’s bamboo tunnel and other music, operatic style withextensive mass Foundation. Then, in Ganzhou city such a regional owner has a long musicalhistory, what about current situation of music education in primary schools? With such ofquestions, I go to Ganzhou city to investigate teaching work of many primary and secondaryschools. through interview, exchange and questionnaire investigation for teaching class, and basedon these statistics analysis, this article first analyze status and problems of music education ofprimary and secondary schools in Ganzhou city, find the underlying reasons, and discuss the factors of influencing music education effectiveness of primary and secondary schools from socialculture, and campus and family; Second, it clearly analyze what positive impact the musiceducation will have on students ’ quality development; Finally, it discuss effective strategies andpaths of development of the quality of primary and secondary school students in detail throughmusic education...
