The Enlightenment On The Confucius' Music Education Toward The Music Education In Primary And Secondary Schools

Confucius put forward six arts,namely ritual,music,shooting,driving,calligraphy and math in the early Qin period.Music is the second among them.The emergence of music expresses that music education can fully embody the importance of our traditional education.What's more,the aesthetic requirements can reflect the essence and core of music education.The traditional music education has been an very important education concept which pays attention to music and respecting Confucianism in our ancient education.There are endless theory which study Confucius' music education nowadays,but is short of relevant literature which it has concrete implementation and reference on the music curriculum of modern primary and secondary schools.China's economic has developed rapidly nowadays.The transition from exam-oriented to quality education has become the subject and core of China's current education.More attention is given to inherit and carry forward traditional music culture and appeal for it.The paper takes Confucius' music education as the main line and explain from three aspects.The first chapter carries on a research centering on the values and contents of Confucius' music education.It involves its main body---music education,the core of harmony advocated by music education,the aesthetic principle of neutralization and the education concept of providing education for all people without discrimination proposed by Confucius.It takes Confucius' music education as the main content and explain its traditional significance.The second chapter mainly introduces the Confucius' music education has enlightenment on curriculum implementation.The third chapter is the attitude toward the education practice of modern primary and secondary schools and the construction of teaching mode.At the end of this paper,it summarizes Confucius' music education enlightens the music education of current primary and secondary schools and the significance of continuous reference.
