The Ideological And Political Education In The Tool Rationality And Value Rationality

Different philosophical school of thought on the "rational" in history has a different understanding and use of Max Weber’s "rationality" clearly divided into two tool rationality and value rationality. Instrumental rationality refers to the action driven only by pursuing utilitarian motives, actions by means of rational need achieve their expected purpose, actors from pure effect maximization, and disregard for human emotion and spirit value. And rational value is a certain behavior of the unconditional value, emphasizes the motive is pure and choose the right means to achieve their aims to achieve the purpose of, and regardless of the result. Both as two indispensable part of human reason, each have its characteristics and functions. But with the development of modern western science and technology and industry, for the expansion of the materialistic society, as a result of the rationalization of capitalist society in the economic and political system make people completely lost autonomy and became passive command execution system existence, instrumental rationality increasingly occupy dominant position in the field of the human spirit, and the value rationality is increasingly being neglected and marginalized, in which the value and significance of lost, Tools rational and Value is not rational. Therefore, science and technology, rational in the process of education research has a practical significance.In this paper, on the basis of predecessors’ research, with the help of a research literature at home and abroad, from the perspective of the development situation and the tool rationality and value rationality, the combination of theory and practice of ideological and political education in our country, analysis tool rationality and value rationality, the relationship between verification tool rationality and value rationality fusion to the ideological and political education of the significance of unity.
