With the depth of the information technology in primary schools,primary school the IT teachers face serious challenges-the IT professionalknowledge and professional ability system update fast, and they have thelevel of professional competence, represents the process of school educationinformation, affecting the IT teaching quality and the quality of studentlearning. Therefore, under the existing conditions, study primary school theIT teachers how to follow development of the era to enhance theirprofessional competence is necessary, to provide a solid foundation for theprofessional development of the IT teachers in primary schools.The relevant literature has learned that IT courses are emergingcurriculum, primary school the IT teachers is not "professional", who aremostly halfway decent, professional knowledge and professional ability isimperfect, which has been restricting the development of primary school theIT teachers. On the basis of the IT teachers’ professional knowledge,professional ability and professional competence of existing research, nowis proposing primary school the IT teachers’ professional competencestructure, in order to provide a standard for Xincheng District primaryschool the IT teachers’ professional competence.The study used questionnaires to issue, learned the status of theXincheng District Primary School the IT teachers as well as professionalcompetence, analyzed the disciplinary expertise of these teachers are notsolid, a lack of general knowledge of teachers, and teaching related to theability is deficiency, and research capacity is weak, and IT is not strong,most because the community do not attach importance to primary school ITclass, and detailed analysis from the schools and teachers for two reasons.Finally, for the problems and combined with the corresponding analysis from the school factors and teacher personal factors, put to solvingstrategies. From the school point of view, can be implemented to continueeducation and training, comprehensive to enhance the professionalcompetence of the Xincheng District primary school the IT teachers; updatethe software and hardware equipment, and provide teachers with excellentteaching and learning environment and a wealth of teaching resources; toimprove the status and treatment of primary school the IT teachers, toinspire teachers’ enthusiasm for work; introduction of highly educatedprofessionals or the development of micro-teaching and teaching assessmentactivities, to arouse teachers’ sense of urgency, autonomous theenhancement of professional competence. From the teachers ’point of view,to establish the correct career aspirations to improve primary school the ITteachers’ professional identity; for their own actual needs, take the initiativeto strengthen the learning of theoretical and practical knowledge; use theirown professional advantage and network advantage, strengthen learningplatform for exchanges and cooperation, and deepen the width and depth ofteachers’ professional competence level; objective evaluation of their ownlevel in the teaching process, teaching reflection at any time, establish asense of lifelong learning.
