Whether it is the high-quality development of education or the high-quality development of teachers,the special group of teachers who are novice teachers cannot be ignored.Beginner teachers are the most energetic and important part of the teacher group.Although the initial stage of their work is a bottleneck period that faces various problems,it is a critical period to promote their own professional development.This study uses the 2012 "Professional Standards for Primary School Teachers" as the basis for studying the professional development of elementary school teachers,and determines the three dimensions(professional philosophy and teacher ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability)and 15 secondary schools for studying the professional development of elementary school teachers.Level indicators;guided by teacher professional development theory,Maslow's need-level theory,field theory and lifelong education theory,using literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis method to start the investigation of new teachers in L County Primary School in Zhejiang Province Research on professional development issues and countermeasures.The research results show that the problems in the professional development of elementary school teachers are as follows:(1)The professional development of elementary school teachers is generally at a medium level,but the level of professional philosophy and teacher ethics and professional ability is low(professional knowledge 3.9417> professional philosophy and teacher ethics 3.7496> professional ability 3.6025).(2)The educational ideals and beliefs,attitudes and behaviors towards students,and the low level of attitudes and behaviors in education and teaching of elementary school teachers.(3)The general knowledge of elementary school teachers is relatively weak.(4)The communication and cooperation abilities,teachers' reflection and development abilities,modern educational technology abilities,and educational research abilities of elementary school beginners are not strong.(5)The reasons for the problems in the professional development of elementary school teachers are mainly attributed to the education department,the large environment of L County,the small school field and the teachers themselves.Based on the problems in the professional development of elementary school teachers,the following suggestions are made:(1)Grasp the "practice" and strengthen the pertinence of the professional development of the novice teachers in primary schools.(2)Clarify "differences" and strengthen the professional development of primary school teachers,paying attention to differences in gender,teaching age,and highest educational background.(3)"Unified" treatment,pay attention to the professional development of new elementary school teachers,increase effective training opportunities for elementary school teachers,pay attention to the professional ability of elementary school teachers,and focus on the ability of education and research.(4)"Self" promotion,improve the professional development of primary school teachers,strengthen the autonomy of professional development,enhance the ability of self-reflection and persist in lifelong learning.
