The foreign literary works for junior middle school can play a positive role in developing students perfect personality. Therefore, Chinese teachers of middle school should have open-minded mentality, get rid of the restraint of nation and improve their Understanding quality They ought to lead students to understand the foreign literature with the objective cultural perspective and broaden students’ mind. But many elementary schools don’t pay enough attention to the teaching methods on foreign literature,the level of teaching foreign literature needs to be improved,we can take Nongyan Middle School as an example, according to teaching foreign literature of junior high school language, the purpose of this paper hopes to solve teaching problems of foreign literature and cultivate students’ interest to realize a good interaction with the teaching methods of foreign literature in middle school.The author makes surveys about the status of the teaching on foreign literature of Nongyan Middle school and puts forward corresponding countermeasures:1. There are some problems on how to select texts, such as the range of the selected texts has some limitations; the styles of the selected texts are still not completely meet the students’ cognitive level; the era of the selected texts is too narrow. As appropriate,it is absolutely necessary to expand selected range, pay attention to linking selected age and make it more be in line with of junior high school students’understanding level.2. At Present, The Chinese teachers of Nongyan Middle school teach foreign literature in a dilemma:the low educational qualification; low foreign literature accomplishment, a lack of awareness to improve their own literacy;they teach foreign literature with a single outdated mode of teaching, which can not arouse students’ enthusiasm of learning foreign literature. Based on that, this paper discusses Chinese teachers should carefully study Western philosophy, Western aesthetics, and Western literary theory to improve their foreign literary accomplishment. In addition,they can explore the discussion of teaching method and use modern teaching media and flexible teaching methods to improve the teaching methods of foreign literature.3. The students have great difficulty in learning foreign literary works, such as:the factor of students’family affects their improvement of foreign literary accomplishment; the limitations of textbook arrangement have an effect on students’learning effect of foreign literature; students’ extracurricular reading foreign literature is limited. Therefore, Chinese teachers should actively guide students to read foreign literature, establish the extracurricular interest groups about reading foreign literature to stimulate students’subjectivity to learn the foreign works.4. School teaching equipment and teaching focus ignored foreign literature, such as:the focus of the teaching arrangements in Nongyan Middle school is to improve the enrollment rate; the number of books of the school library is too limited and it can not meet the students’reading demand.I believe this:the school should strengthen the construction of school library and take full advantage of modern information technology and other ways to make it possible for the course to go out of the difficult position. Chinese teachers ought to re-examine the value of teaching foreign literature in the whole language teaching. Foreign literature can play its superiority and function in students’ mental development.
