Chinese extracurricular reading is always the hot research field is one of the subject, theextracurricular reading research has very important practical significance. With the progressof science and technology and the deepening of the new curriculum reform, strengtheningextracurricular reading is the self-identity of whole society and attention. Chineseextracurricular reading has become expand student knowledge, promote the spiritual realm,developing humanistic quality is an important way. However, junior middle school studentsespecially the various cultural facilities do not complete the rural junior middle schoolstudents ’ extracurricular reading is currently an optimistic state. They are reading attitude andmotivation, read, read, read, read number method as well as the way to exist some problems. Iam in the rural junior middle school students’ extracurricular reading to do some basic workprinciple, to use its own favorable conditions, to Chaoyang City three rural junior middleschool students’ extracurricular reading of the survey research.In this paper, the introduction of the topic in the current situation at home and abroad andthe actual state of extracurricular reading in rural middle schools, puts forward the researchpurpose. The first chapter mainly clear reading survey of necessity and significance, in orderto provide a broad background. The second chapter is based on the actual situation ofChaoyang City countryside junior middle school Chinese reading survey method. The thirdchapter through the questionnaire investigation and statistics methods for rural junior middleschool students’ Chinese reading present situation carries on the investigation, statistics, findout the extracurricular reading problems, and probes into the profound causes of theseproblems. In the fourth chapter, on the basis of the above analysis, for the Chaoyang Cityextracurricular Chinese reading in rural middle schools and put forward some suggestions andmeasures. The conclusion part emphasizes again the middle-school students’ extracurricularreading is important, I hope this problem can cause widespread concern, and calls for parents,social and educational worker joint efforts, development of rural junior middle schoolChinese reading in the new situation.
