This study uses16PF and "School social adaptation Scale"(SAS-SSS) as measuring tools, to investigate all the high school freshmen above16years old in senior high school of Liaoning Normal University in2011-2012school year, By exploring the relationship between those two scales, the conclusions as follows:(1) The psychological sense of superiority on social adaptability of high school freshmen is evident;(2) The differences of social adaptability between boys and girls are not significant. Boys’psychological adaptability and interpersonal dimensions of energy are significantly higher than girls, girls’psychological flexibility dimension is significantly higher than boys, and there is no significant difference on psychological sense of superiority;(3) The differences of social adaptability between experimental classes students and parallel classes students are not significant. In the comparison of various dimensions, parallel classes students’scores are higher than experimental classes students in the psychological dimension of energy significantly, while in other dimensions, parallel classes students and experimental classes students are not significantly different;(4) The correlation between personality traits and social adaptability of freshmen in high school is proved. The highest related traits include N, O, Q4, XI, Yl, Y4, secondly, there are A, L, Q1, X2, X3, and I is also another related one, only not so significant as those above.After5times of psychological behavior training, the experimental group took the measurement of their social adaptability level again together with the control group(students’ social adaptability are all in the10%back of school in both groups), results is as follows:(1) The results of two measurements of experimental group are significantly different, the second one is significantly higher than the previous one;(2) The results of two measurements of control group are not significantly different;(3)The results of the second measurement between experimental group and control group are significantly different, experimental group scored significantly higher than control group did. Therefore, the results of this experimental research proved that psychological behavior training to raise the level of social adaptability of freshmen in high school, can be classified as a mental health curriculum specifically for one of the contents of the field, and should be extensive in high school campus.
