| In recent years,the state has been vigorously advocating the important role of voluntary service in social governance,which has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.As an important force to provide social services,volunteers of social work organizations have played an important role in promoting the social governance pattern of joint construction,joint governance and sharing.The survey found that in real life,volunteers in social work organizations have different motivations to participate in volunteer activities,which leads to differences in the degree of engagement in the activity process.It can be seen that participation motivation has a significant impact on job engagement.And some studies have shown that the job engagement of organizational members may be affected by personality traits.However,because personality is a complex variable,a person’s personality is not constant,and people with different personality traits also have great differences in their work behavior.It is precisely because of such differences that the relationship between participation motivation and job engagement of volunteers in social work organizations is not simple causality,it’s not that the more motivated the volunteers are,the more engaged they are.In this process,how much the personality traits of volunteers will influence the level of job involvement and the relationship between the three will be the focus and direction of this research.Therefore,in the context of exploring the relationship between participation motivation and job engagement of volunteers in social work institutions,this paper adds personality traits as moderating variables to construct the research model of this paper.The results show that :(1)demographic variables have a significant impact on the participation motivation and part of the dimensions of job involvement of volunteers in social work institutions;(2)Participation motivation has significant predictive effect on job engagement;(3)agreeableness and extroversion play a moderating role in the relationship between participation motivation and job involvement.Based on the research results and combining with some practical factors,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the recruitment and use of volunteers in social work organizations: to improve the participation motivation of volunteers from the publicity system,training system and incentive system;It is expected to provide reference for the construction and quality improvement of the volunteer team of social work organizations. |
