With the rapid development of the social economy in Tibet, the continuous reform of higher education has deepened, and more and more students from various provinces in the Mainland have come. For mainland students who come to Tibet to study, they not only have to face problems in study, life, and emotions during the university period, but also adapt to Tibet's unique climate and interpersonal relationships between students.Inevitably, social adaptation problems will arise. The level of social adaptation of students in mainland China affects both their own development and national unity and social stability in Tibet. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the overall situation of social adaptation of students in mainland China. In order to explore the influence of personality traits and emotional self-efficacy on the social adaptation of students in Tibetan countries, the paper studies the overall situation of social adaptation, the differences in social adaptation in demographic variables, and the study of students in Tibetan countries. The relationship between personality traits, emotional regulation,self-efficacy and social adaptation.Through the use of the Social Adaptation Scale(five dimensions),the Personality Quality Table(five dimensions),and the Emotional Adjustment Self-Efficacy Scale(three dimensions),218 mainland students in Tibet were adopted.Questionnaires were conducted and data were processed using SPSS and AMOS software. Finally, combined with the research conclusions and interview data in the Tibetan field survey, suggestions for improving social adaptation were proposed.Conclusions:(1)The overall social adjustment of students in Tibetan areas is good. There is no significant difference in social adaptation in different genders, different grades, different ethnic groups, whether they are only children, students, family habitats and time of Tibet. In the dimension of learning adaptation of social adaptation, there are significant differences among students in different Tibetan countries in terms of economic status, and there are significant differences in social adaptation of students with different academic achievements in Tibetan countries.Mainland students of different genders have significant differences in neuroticism. There is no significant difference in the personality traits and dimensions of students in the Tibetan mainland between the only child and the family. In the rigorous dimension, there are significant differences between students with different academic performances in Tibetan countries.Mainland students of different genders have significant differences in the two dimensions of self-efficacy in regulating frustration/painful emotions and self-efficacy in regulating anger/anger.There is no significant difference in the self-efficacy and dimension of students' emotional self-efficacy in Tibetan countries between the one-child,the family, and the academic performance.(2)The total score of social adaptation is significantly related to the total score of personality traits, between the students' learning adaptation and neuroticism, future adaptation and rigor, environmental adaptation and amenity, psychological adaptation and openness, interpersonal adaptation and extroversion. There is no significant correlation, and the rest of the social adaptation dimension is significantly related to the personality trait dimension. In addition to learning adaptation and neuroticism, the total score of social adaptation and its dimensions are significantly negatively correlated with neuroticism. The total score of personality traits is significantly correlated with the total score of emotional self-efficacy,expressing the self-efficacy and neuroticism of positive emotions, adjusting the self-efficacy and amenity of depression/painful emotions, and regulating the self-efficacy of angry/angery emotions. There is no significant correlation between openness, emotional adjustment of self-efficacy total score and extroversion, expression of positive emotion self-efficacy and personality trait total score, emotion adjustment self-efficacy other dimensions and personality traits total score and its dimensions There was a significant correlation between the two.The total score of social adaptation is significantly related to the total score of emotional self-efficacy,except for the future adaptation and expression of positive emotional self-efficacy,environmental adaptation and self-efficacy to regulate depression/painful emotions, psychological adaptation and self-efficacy of regulating anger/anger There is no significant correlation between the total score of sensory and emotional self-efficacy and interpersonal adaptation. There is a significant positive correlation between the total score of social adaptation and its dimension and the emotional self-efficacy of Tibetan students.(3)Personality traits can significantly predict social adaptation, and also have a significant predictive effect on emotional regulation of self-efficacy.Personality traits and emotional self-efficacy can significantly predict social adaptation.(4)Emotional regulation Self-efficacy plays a part in mediating between personality traits and social adaptation.Personality traits, social adaptation and emotional self-efficacy of students in mainland China are significantly related, and emotional self-efficacy plays a part in mediating between personality traits and social adaptation. In order to improve the social adaptation of students in the Tibetan mainland, the following measures are proposed:first,to strengthen the ability of emotional regulation;second,to carry out adaptive education;third,to implement social practice;fourth,to provide interpersonal support.
