In view of the children’s short-term swimming training in Yantai may arise in the management system, construction of stadiums, training contents of hard&software problemes, combine the actual situation of China and Shandong Province, seriously analysis studies and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and solutions for the relevant departments and other researchers for reference.In this paper, by using the method of documentary, interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics on the swimming pool managements, swimming coaches, lifeguardses, students and their parents in Yantai for investigation and analysis, we put forward recommendations in the Yantai children’s short-term swimming training venue construction, management system, coaches and Lifeguard Training, children participate. in short-term effects swimming training factors and children’s short-term swimming training teaching reform recommendations, and hope for Yantai children’s short-term swimming training development to provide some reference.Through the investigation,we found the following questions in the short-term swimming for children in yantai:1.The swimming facilities and services in Yantai develop too slow, swimming industrialization degree remains to rise further.2.The training time is expanding gradually, but the propaganda of Children’s Short-term Swimming training is still not enough.3.Though the Children and their parents show high enthusiasm, the short-term swimming training is still in the beginning and exploring stage.There are many deficiencies need to improve, enhance and improve.4. The teaching means of some coaches are monotonous,teaching innovation ability is poorer,the way to deal with the problem is insufficient. The team of the lifeguard is not stable, professional.The training system is not perfect, the lifeguard service capability and service level should be improved.5. Though the Yantai children’s short term swimming training combines with the professional technology, the training methods still use the competitive sports pattern. It is not completely to the children’s all-round development education.In this regard, made the following recommendations:1.Yantai swimming authority and the swimming training institutions should strive to create a good atmosphere for training.2.1t should be combined with swimming exercise on children’s physical development, health benefits, through the network, television, magazines and newspapers and other propaganda way of swimming for multi-angle publicity.3.It should strive to improve children’s short-term swimming training system, to ensure that the children enjoy the harmonious society to bring warmth.4.It should strengthen the coaches, lifeguard team construction, improve the comprehensive quality of coaches and lifeguard.5.It should innovate swimming training teaching mode, emphasizing a variety of new teaching methods, flexible use of the organic combination of realizing the modernization of the teaching means and diversifications.
