With the coming of the era of knowledge economy, education is facing the unprecedented revolution, more and more teaching staff are coming into being the consensus that it is necessary to carry out student-centered base education which leads to the non-instructive teaching method in Chinese teaching come into being. This method claims that students should be on the spot in teaching activity, and it tries to nurture the versatile students in Chinese field.The author tries to paraphrase this method in all round way by using the way of theory exploration. The thesis includes six parts, namely the first chapter-comprehension, the second chapter-the exploration in the derivation of the non-instructive teaching method, the third chapter-the exploration in basis theory of the non-instructive teaching method, the fourth chapter-exploration in the characteristic of the non-instructive teaching method, the fifth chapter-the change of teachers’ view based on prelude, this teaching method. The first part mainly discusses how to define the conception of this teaching method and how to carry out this teaching method step by step. The second part discusses the derivation of the non-instructive teaching method in comparing to Chinese ancient teaching theory and western theory. The third part mainly paraphrases this teaching method basing on three basis theories, namely:humanism, constructivism and dynamism. The fourth part mainly paraphrases the characteristics of this method, namely: non-presupposition, the unity between knowledge and emotion, autonomy, openness, interactivity. The fifth part analyzes the change of the viewpoints of teachers on the relation between teacher and student, nurturing the students, teaching and studying and evaluating.As a new method on teaching and studying, the non-instructive teaching method is not very perfect, author hope that the thesis can strengthen teachers’ understanding about the non-instructive teaching method, and help them to practice it.
