The project of practice and research of "High School Mathematics Dynamic Hierarchical Teaching Practice and Research "is came up in the macroscopic background of New Curriculum Reform. It is based on the current situation in Xiangshan Middle School, and is proposed to explore the teaching approach to change the present situation of polarity among students in learning mathematics.Research group members have carefully analyzed relevant research results from home and abroad, and on the basis of some successful experience, we insist on adding "Dynamic Hierarchical Teaching" to conventional teaching in high school.Our group went deep into the Modern and Contemporary Teaching Theory and the concept of New Curriculum Reform and Target. And during the process of practicing this teaching method, we gradually made clear the basis of theory research in three aspects, that is Teaching Method, Psychology and Mathematics Science, which gradually helped us to clarify the general thought in teaching "Goal-oriented---layered cut".At the same time, combining with high school students’inherent laws, our members explored the principles and strategies of classification among students and of the way how teachers are equipped with. After that, we chose "Go Class System" as a way to classify students, and also we discussed the problems in relevant teaching management.Based on high school mathematics curriculum, we make a corresponding level target, and probe into the process goal in teaching. Around the teaching objectives, we set off case design and try to apply level test work which meets with hierarchical teaching.In2004and2005, our school carried out this teaching method in grade two, and it turned out to be a great success. We have realized the anticipated target on the whole and we’ve overcome the polarity. It not only improves students’ comprehensive competence, but also promotes teachers’ professional development.According to a full investigation on students’ comprehensive competence and teachers’teaching qualities, our research has found three ideas as bellow:(1) Hierarchical Teaching Strategy is an effective teaching strategy to change the phenomena of students’ polarity in learning mathematics;(2) Hierarchical Teaching Strategy is of great use for high school students to develop comprehensively;(3) Hierarchical Teaching Strategy benefits teachers in their professional development. During our research, we draw a conclusion to some characteristics:Firstly, on the theory level, this theory basis can avoid the old mode of "Education theory&Mathematics Examples" cased by reform in teaching.Secondly, the introduction of "Dynamic Adjustment Mechanism" can effectively hold back the phenomena of dedifferentiation.However, as a mature reaching mode, Hierarchical Teaching need to be further applied to explore its effect in scientific aspect an rationality of dynamic adjustment as well as the pertinence in level test.
