Modern education technology is the condition of educational modernization and an efficient method for the improvement of teaching effect. It is the key to improve teacher’s ability of education technology, which is widely used. According to the educational technology standards for primary and middle school teacher, and through material study, investigation, interview, questionnaire research and educational narrative, this paper makes a school-based research on the application of modern educational technology of the teachers who teach in mongolian in the second high school of Tianshan, and sums up the current situation of modern educational technology which used by the teachers who teach in mongolian, and analyzes the factors influencing the teachers’ application of modern educational technology and existing problems so as to set basis for the future development of modern educational technology training work and provide experience to similar school.This paper consists of six parts:part one elaborates the basis of selected topic, the aim and significance of the study. Part two provides an overview of present situation of application for modern educational technology of teachers and relative concepts definition. Part three clarifies and explains the idea and methods of the study. According to the educational technology standards for primary and middle school teacher, Part four makes investigation statistics, and summarizes interview contents from five angles of consciousness and attitude, knowledge and technical ability, application and innovation,social responsibility, and the influencing factors of practical ability for application of educational technology, putting forward the existing problems in applying of modern educational technology for teachers from five aspects of the environment for modern educational technology, teachers’theoretical understanding for modern educational technology, mastery of technical ability, social responsibility and training work. Part five put forward several possible solutions and suggestions for the environment of modern educational application, collective and individual learning. In part six the research content is summarized, disadvantages and future prospect are put forward.
