Everyone has to discirminate against the actions of others, but the performance indifferent areas. With the development of society,the types of discirmination are more andmore,such as: racial discirmination, gender discirmination, geographical discrimination scoresof discrimination, and specialty discrimination, the blood type of discirmination, pricediscirmination,name, discirmination and so on,Under a view of educational discrimination ofthe Junior Middle School students, this article has discusses what are the developmentcharacteirstics of educational discirmination, as well as the correlation between educationaldiscrimination and self-concept, and put forward some proposals according to the research.Atfer the summary of the domestic and foreign correlation researches,we had an investigationon165junior middle school students with the test educational discrimination scale for juniormiddle school students and the self-description questionnaire (SDQ II),through the dataanalysis, we got the following conclusions:1.There are ifve factors in the educational discrimination scale for junior middle schoolstudents, including achievement and intelligence, expression, appearance, background ofhousehold,specialty and skill.2.The reliability analysis shows that the internal consistency reliability (Cronbach ’ s a)of questionnaire is0.78and two-week test-retest reliability is0.71.There is good contentvalidity and construct validity in the questionnaire.The results show that the questionnairecan be used to be an instrument for measuring educational discirmination of junior middleschool students.3.There is signiifcant difference between genders of the Junior Middle Schoolstudent’s educational discrimination, and there no is significant difference in grades.4.There is negative relevant on educational discrimination and self-concept of JuniorMiddle School students the intelligence and appearance in the educational discrimination iseiffciency in predicting the self-concept.
