The high school stage is an important stage of personality development. The personality traits mature and tend to qualitative in this period. High school students’ physical development and mental development has been almost reached a mature level. Their cognitive abilities, emotions and motivations are maturing to form a stable life and values. They have strong ability to accept new things and their personality is very flexible to deal.A very important function of Sports is personality molding. Person can promote personality completely and effectively by the psychological effect born in physical exercise. People who have sports for a long term can enhance the imagination, gain greater self-satisfaction, self-confidence and sense of control, reduce feelings of insecurity.This paper test personality of100PE students and100non-PE students in five provincial key high school of Qingdao by Cate1116Personality Factor Test in order to explore if there is any difference in terms of personality characteristics of the high school sports students and non-sport students and analyze the reasons for this difference.Offering some suggestion to development personality traits of high school students by sports training.Conclusions of this study are as follows:Physical exercise has influence in the development of personality factors. And this effect exist gender differences between men and women. The specific performance is that:1.PE students16personality factors compared with non PE students, PE students are higher than non PE students in aggressiveness and there is a significant difference. In a skeptical, non PE students are higher than PE students and there is a significant difference. In gregariousness, PE students are higher than that of non PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence. In intelligence, non PE students are higher than that of PE students, and had a highly significant difference. In excitability, PE students are higher than non PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence. In boldness, PE students are higher than that of non PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence. In anxiety, non PE students are higher than that of PE students, and there is a highly significant difference.2. PE students in8kinds of secondary personality factors compared with non PE students, as a result, non PE students are higher than PE students in adapting of Anxiety and personality factors, and there is a significant difference. In the introversion and extroversion personality factors, PE students are higher than non PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence. Personality factors in mental health, PE students are higher than non PE students and there is a highly significant divergence. In the ability to create strong personality factors, non PE students are higher than PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence. In the new environment of growth ability personality factors, non PE students are higher than PE students, and there is a highly significant divergence.3. In anxiety, there are highly significant differences between PE students and non PE students along with the National Convention. The average of the anxiety of PE students is16.79that at the most marginalized segment of moderate personality, belongs to over excited.4.Compare with female non-PE students, female PE students have much higher level in excitability, association, boldness and have much lower level in anxiety related、ntelligent. Compare with male PE students, female PE students have much higher level in association, sensitivity, fantasy. All of this suggests that sports make female personality presenting the characteristics of "male".
