| The core literacy of mathematics discipline is the concentrated reflection of the value of education.The curriculum standard puts forward six core literacy:mathematical abstraction,visual imagination,mathematical modeling,logical reasoning,mathematical operation and data analysis.Visual imagination is an important means to explore reasoning,form thoughts and solve problems.In today’s information age,science and technology is an important standard to measure a country’s comprehensive national strength.The development of a country cannot be separated from high-tech talents,and the cultivation of excellent students has attracted more attention.Senior high school is the key period for students’ academic development and ability formation,so it is particularly important to cultivate superior students in senior high school.This study investigates the intuitive imagination ability of superior students in mathematics,adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,and uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and text analysis.In this study,201 senior two students from a key senior high school in Kunming were selected for the test.The evaluation framework of visual imagination ability was constructed from three dimensions of level,structure and content,and the test paper of visual imagination ability was prepared to know the current situation of visual imagination ability of senior two students and analyze the performance of superior students in various levels of visual imagination ability.The outline was designed from three aspects: mathematical metacognition,mathematical learning strategies and non-intellectual factors.22 superior students were interviewed to further explore the factors affecting the visual imagination ability of superior students in mathematics.The study has the following conclusions: ⑴ The senior two students performed well in their visual imagination ability.⑵ There are obvious differences between superior students and ordinary students in the development of visual imagination ability.⑶ Superior students in mathematics have unbalanced development in visual imagination ability.⑷ There is no significant difference between superior students of different genders.⑸ The macroscopic factors affecting the intuitive imagination ability of superior students in mathematics mainly lie in two aspects: mathematical metacognition and non-intellectual factors.Based on the above conclusions and findings during the investigation process,the following suggestions are given: ⑴ Flexibly transform the mathematical language and cultivate the idea of combining numbers and forms.⑵ Correctly use of mathematical language conversion and cultivate creative thinking.⑶ Pay attention to reflection and adjustment,and leave room for their independent thinking.⑷Clarify the target orientation and promote students to achieve educational transformation.⑸ Combining multimedia to construct mathematical model teaching and cultivate intuitive thinking. |
