At the beginning of the21century, obesity has been a cosmopolitan social issue, and it is one of the most common malnourished disease. Recently, with the progress of the technology, the development of the economy, the improvement of the nutrition, the change of the lifestyle and the prandial model, the global obesity rate has always been the trend of increasing. Especially the particularity of the old women, because of the influence of the physiology and psychology, the obesity rate is higher than the old men. Exploring a effective method of improving the physical function and changing the physical composition in order to scientifically reduce the weight of the old women should be one of the important content of the health condition of the old obesity women in the civil body building plans Yangko is an aerobic item and the elder are favourite of it.Its effects of the body building get the authorization of the experts and scholars, but because the researches about it is little, the theory of body building should be certified. The objectives of the research are the elderly women.We use some parameters to analyse and explore the effects of reducing weight in order to provide scientific theory for the elderly women who will participant the Yangko exercise.We choose70elderly health women who aged from60to69, BMI≥25,waist-to-hip rate (WHR)≥0.8,the percentage of the physical fat>30%as the objectives. All of them come from Xiyuan community in Jinan and they are voluntary to participant the experiment. They are randomly divided into experimental group (50persons) and control group (20persons).there is no clearly differences between the two groups. The experimental group do Yangko exercises12weeks, while the control group do some normal daily activity and keep the same with before. Get the parameters about physical function and composition of the participants who are empty stomach in the morning before and after the experiment. And observe the influences of the12-week exercises on the elderly women.Results:(1) after the experiment, in the experimental group, the circumferences of the waist, abdomen and hip of the participants decline obviously(P<0.01);the circumferences of upper arm in tension or relax condition reduce clearly (P<0.01);the skinfold thickness of the subscapular angle,upper arm and abdomen also decline clearly (P<0.01)(2) the weight and weight index of the experimental participants also drop clearly (P<0.01)(3) after the experiment, in the experimental group, the fat mass and the fat percentage of the participants decline clearly, while the muscle mass has the trend of increasing.Conclusion:(1)12-week Yangko exercises can effectively reduce the fat of the waist and hip,skinfold thickness of the elderly women, so it can shape the body and can prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular disease and hypertension and diabetes.(2)12-week Yangko exercises can reduce the weight of the elderly obesity women in order to loose weight safely.(3)12-week Yangko exercises can reduce the fat percentage and fat mass of the elderly obesity women in order to get physical fitness.
