| Objective: the square dance as a form of aerobic exercise, because it both has the dance,music and entertainment features, more and more elderly people in love. This project inthe fitness and create a good form but not related studies on physiological function.Research on exercise in square in the elderly through the experiment, the effect of themovement of body composition on the elderly, so as to provide some theoreticalreference for the elderly to choose the way of sports and exercise prescription.Methods:3050-70years old female as the object of study. For the square danceexercise on the subjects using the morning7:00am-8:00am time,5times a week, every60minutes. Each was divided into three stages:10minutes,45minutes to warm up thesquare dance,5minutes to relax, exercise intensity control about60%of maximumheart rate. In the exercise before and after the start of the fourth,8,12and16weeks,body composition test in the elderly. Testing items include body circumference test, testand subcutaneous fat body composition test instrument. Test indicators include: bust,waist circumference, hip circumference, waist hip ratio, arm skin fold thickness,scapular skin fold thickness of skin fold thickness, chest, abdominal skin fold thickness,body weight, body fat percentage, body fat, and body fat mass and body mass index.Results: After16weeks of square dance training, the subjects of the bodycircumference index bust5test values increasing gradually with time; waistcircumference, hip circumference and waist to hip ratio with time gradually decreased,and the4indexes in the16week of the test period, there were significant differences.Among them, chest circumference index at week twelfth compared to the base valueappeared significant difference, there was significant at sixteenth weeks; waistcircumference at twelfth weeks compared to the basic value appeared significantdifference, there was significant at sixteenth weeks; hip circumference compared to thebasic value appeared significant difference at sixteenth weeks there was significant;differences in waist to hip ratio index in sixteenth weeks. Subcutaneous fat thickness of4test values gradually decreased with time. Among them, arm fat thickness indexcompared to the basic value appeared significant difference at sixteenth weeks; scapularfat thickness index at week twelfth compared to the base value appeared significantdifference, there was significant at sixteenth weeks; chest fat thickness index comparedto the basic value, there were significant differences in the sixteenth week of abdominalfat thickness; index has a gradually decreasing trend in16weeks, but the difference wasnot significant. Subjects were16weeks exercise period body composition indicators ofweight, fat percentage, body fat mass, body mass index were gradually decreased withthe time, body fat mass index increased gradually with time. The body weight atsixteenth weeks compared to the basic values decreased significantly; fat percentageindex compared to the basic value decreased significantly in sixteenth weeks; body fatdecreased significantly at twelfth and sixteenth weeks compared to baseline values; leanbody mass index compared to the basic value increased significantly at twelfth weeks,sixteenth weeks compared to basal values significantly weight index increased;sixteenth weeks than in the base values decreased significantly.Conclusion: the square dance movement16weeks can effectively reduce the bodycircumference, reduce subcutaneous fat content, improve body composition, and haveobvious positive effect on body shape of improvement in the elderly.Suggestion: the elderly to participate in low strength in daily life, such as square dance,Tai Chi and fast movement, so as to improve the body shape, physical fitness function. |
