In school mathematics curriculum, Analytic geometry is a classic content and is an important curve in the Plane Analytic Geometry, which fully reflects the basic idea of analytic geometry and becomes the basis of analytic geometry. Through coordinate system of knowledge and the use of curves, discuss the theory of equations, analysis of elliptic, hyperbolic and algebraic equations and geometric properties.On the basis of<High school mathematics curriculum standards>, referring to<High school mathematics teaching the new curriculum guidance of Zhejiang (experiment)><Common entrance examination shows of Zhejiang in2011> and other reference books of the class requirement of high conic, analyze the conic branch of study and the difficulty of the content. Meanwhile, do some research related to the high school math teachers and students in a targeted questionnaires and interviews to better understand high school math teaching conic status from all levels. I feel very clearly the conic content in the traditional process of teaching were bound and attacked under the background of High school mathematics curriculum. It forces us to have to change the traditional way of thinking, to a more broad understanding of high school mathematics curriculum under the conic. How to lead students in the classroom teaching experience first-hand involvement and knowledge generation, development and ownership and how to increase interest in learning and motivation with more profound awareness and understanding of ideas to conic appear urgently important in understanding mathematics in essence.Based on the research on constructivism, differentiation teaching theory and purposeful Learning through multiple intelligences and with an understanding of analytic geometry, the paper will investigate the teaching method on conical section according to several aspects, namely, social life, mathematics, multimedia teaching and education and application. Meanwhile, combining the research and theory of conical section teaching both home and abroad, the paper will also investigate and construct corresponding teaching strategies through an analysis of the current teaching situation with the hope of having a good command of the teaching method and flexible application.In order to raise the teaching level and improve the teaching affect and testify the validity of the strategies of conical section in senior school teaching, it will put the teaching method into practice.The results of the study are as follows, the teaching methods of conical section in senior school mentioned in the paper play an active role to both the students and teachers. On one hand, it activates the class atmosphere to a certain degree and improves the traditional duck-feeding teaching method. Besides, more and more students are willing to take part in the learning process and experience its fascination. On the other hand, through the independent inquiry in class, it arouses the students’interest in researching the conical section greatly.
