The problem of children left behind in rural areas is a major problemthat can not be avoided in a period of social transformation in China. In orderto solve the problem of children left behind in rural areas to provide areference, and is conducive to the balanced development of rural educationand harmonious rural society. Social work is to promote one of the effectiveways to solve the problem of children left behind. On the basis ofunderstanding of the problems and realities of the children left behind, to theconcept of social work as a guide, to study how the application of social work,the approach to the solution to the problem of children left behind, thetheoretical and practical significance.With the rapid economic development of the community, a largenumber of surplus labor in rural young migrant workers, there will be such aspecial group of people-children left behind in rural areas.
