Research On The Development Strategy Of Zhengzhou Huaxin College

After15years of development, Zhengzhou Huaxin University has promoted its educationlevel, and its school characteristics have been gradually formed, its social influence isincreasingly expanding. A large number of graduates from this university are making theirefforts to regional economic and social development. The paper aims to make strategicplanning for the five-year development of Zhengzhou Huaxin University. First of all,PEST analysis is made in the study and it uses SWOT tools to analyze the externalopportunities and threats, internal strengths and weaknesses that Zhengzhou HuaxinUniversity is facing. Then it makes the strategic plan for the next five-year developmenton the basis of the analyzing. This thesis can be divided into six parts: the introductionpart presents the background information, the reasons of choosing the topic, the researchtrends at home and abroad, the research methods and innovations; the second part mainlytalks about some definitions of relevant concepts, and it is also the theoretical basis ofdevelopment strategies; the third part analyzes the present situation of application-orienteduniversity and the success stories of its development; the fourth part makes a systematicanalysis of the strategic environment of Zhengzhou Huaxin University and dissects theopportunities and threats that the university is facing, and on the basis of which, it pointsout the university’s overall goals positioning of development strategy: the universityshould keep a foothold in Zhengzhou, oriented Henan, serve in regional economicdevelopment. Relying on Zhongyuan Huaxin Trade Group, focusing on school-enterprisecooperation and strengthening the practice of teaching, the university should beestablished as an application-oriented science and technology university withengineering-based and distinctive features, which focus on cultivating practical talents.Finally, combining the educational reality of Zhengzhou Huaxin University, the paper putsforward some targeted measures and guarantees to ensure the implementation of theuniversity’s development strategies.
