After the new curriculum reform teachers faced the Question is: morecontents, less class time, so most of the teachers can only create a "knowledge andskills. Homework as an extension of the classroom, should to complete the class andunfinished tasks that due to factors such as time limit as well as a review toconsolidate. And the STS content of chemistry is helpful to the all-rounddevelopment of students, so in this study, STS situation as the carrier, and the authorput forward based on STS situation of high school chemistry homework, hoping thatthrough this part of the assignment of intervention to promote the all-rounddevelopment of students.By reading the existing literature, according to the study of STS education,(the author) defines the definition and characteristics of chemistry STS circumstanceshomework, and determine features, functions, design principles and steps of thechemical STS situation homework. On the basis of theoretical research,(the author)completed the operation conception, design, practice and evaluation after practice ofthe STS situation homework.In this study is to design or modification by two chapters of two of the firstsemester,"into the metals spectacular world" and “the first meeting the periodictable”. Under the guidance of material and curriculum standards, referencing thecorresponding matching exercise,(the author) designed or transformed a total of33questions,24questions of problem sets and practice topic9items among them,practice topic both for long-term assignments (1~2weeks). Under the premise Innot obvious increase the burden of students,(the author) study the role of STSsituation homework for students’ development.For the research of the evaluation is mainly divided into two parts, one is aboutthe evaluation of the STS situation homework that designed, mainly on the analysisof the results after the job itself and the practice; Second, comments from thestudents, mainly by the chemistry learning attitude scale to measure studentsattitude change before and after the experiment, and students’ achievement during the period of experiment and random sampling to conduct interviews.The conclusions of this study are the following:1、Strengthen the STS situational theory has the operation of rationality,(teachers) should increase the STS situational homework.2、The design of STSsituation homework should embody the characteristics of STS education,(teachers)should to strengthen the situational operation, close to the students life, should becarefully designed.3、The STS situation homework is popular with the students andthere is a certain result.4、The students attitude towards chemistry discipline is notachieved overnight, not because of the interference of STS situation homeworkproduced very big change in a short time.5、STS situational homework has nosignificant influence on students’performance, but also cannot be replaced bytraditional operation.
