Compulsory Education Law stressed:"Compulsory education is the national education that all school-age children and adolescents must accept. And it is a welfare establishment that should be guaranteed by the government. It states clearly at the same time that it is free with no tuition and no fees. Under this powerful background, it has an increasing difficulty for teachers in teaching in the common junior school in Guangdong. Why? Because it is compulsory education and free. It means that you can have access to education with no cost. Therefore some students think less and less highly of learning. That some students don’t do their homework become a headache for the teachers. Some copy other’s homework, or get the answers from the Internet. Even some don’t hand in their homework. So the teachers can’t make sure that whether the students have mastered the knowledge they learn. And the teachers can’t take effective measures in teaching. Of course, there are some students who hand in their homework on time, but when they get it back, they will put it in their drawers without a look at it. The teacher’s hard work is in vain. Faced with such problems, I will conduct a study on this topic so as to improve their homework, help promote the quality education, and stimulate students’interest in learning chemistry. I hope I can gradually create a happy journey where the students can do their homework happily by themselves.Before I started my thesis, I referred to a large number of advanced education theories and ideas of domestic and foreign pioneers and chemists and their valuable experience. I combined the constructivism learning theory with multiple intelligence theory to form the framework of my thesis. Based on the respect for students who are the main characters in study, I had a study and creation on chemistry homework design and ways of correcting it. I combined the homework with our life, making chemistry knowledge which comes from life back to life. I tried to have chemistry homework hand in hand with other subjects. For example, chemistry homework can be presented in the form of music or art, the ultimate goal is to seek a variety of interesting and exciting homework for the students to accept the homework and finish it independently. Teachers can check their homework in different ways according to their homework design, which makes homework a real communication bridge between teachers and students. I conducted a survey on my topic among 752 Junior 3 students of the Zhanjiang No21. Middle School in Guangdong, to get supporting datas. Two ordinary classes are tested out and the datas were compared. This paper includes the following six parts:The first part is a brief introduction of reason and background of the study. It introduces traditional forms of homework and support the essence of it and points out its disadvantages. According to students’responses (including actions and feelings) and teaching effect, it states the reason why changes and innovation are needed and the purpose, the significance and practical value of this thesis. The second part on corrects homework at home and abroad, and analyses the current situation of the forms of exploration and innovation.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of domestic and international homework arrangement and correcting forms.The fourth part is the experimental study of the innovative forms of homework. Applying the new homework forms into real teaching may let the students finish their homework with pleasure and independently. So they are able to have fun learning chemistry and make learning a pleasure.The fifth part is about the tracking and analysis of experimental result. In the course of practice, compare experimental class with normal class, analyze the process and the result, and then come to an conclusion.The sixth part is the summary and reflection of the research of this paper.As for students’ feedback and test scores, this topic research despite some positive results: After a semester of diversified operation experiment inquiry activity, through the experiment in a pretest, measurement and test after the analysis of the experimental class of students’ learning motivation, learning interest and learning results are compared with contrast class have obvious progress.But after all, my academic level and energy are limited, and besides there is no detailed practice prove the other grades in high school, so the methods and strategies proposed in this paper are needed further study and improvement.
