Research PurposeThe purpose aims at scientifically analyzing the current situation of teachers’ human capital, and formulating strategic measures in the development of teachers’ human capital in local colleges combined with the reality, so as to provide reference information for developmental research on teachers’human capital of other colleges and universitiesResearch ObjectsFull-time teachers of certain provincial medical universityMethodsLiterature review, questionnaire survey, depth interview were used to scientific analysis of current situation of teachers’ human capital, and strategic measures in the development of teachers’ human capital in local colleges are provided with the reality.Research Findings1. Definition of the teachers’ human capital in Local Medical UniversitiesThe results of the study suggest that the teachers’ human capital in Local Medical Universities, which is condensed in the teachers and formed by the acquired investment, is the combining of elements of health, knowledge, experience, skills, moral and management level for the benefit of survival and strategic development of local medical colleges and universities in the future, has certain value and usage value2. Current situation research of teachers’human capital in Local Medical UniversitiesBy objective analysis of the current situation of teachers’ human capital in a certain provincial medical university, analytical results suggest that the amount of full-time teachers is insufficient; full-time teachers aged between36and45is the main body of teachers; proportion of teachers with doctoral degree is low; the problem of aging teaching staff is serious, and proportion of teachers with senior professional technical position, who are under the age of35, is low.3. Developmental research of teachers’human capital in Local Medical UniversitiesThe study analyzed the existing developmental measures and human capital efficiency, and according to the analytical results, developmental measures covers a wide aspects and input in increasing individual income is ensured; Remarkable accomplishments have been achieved by scientific research awarding measures, not by teaching awards. Measures for improving basic academic accomplishment and encouragement policies are made without full consideration of different subject background and growing environment of teachers’human capital. Platform construction of teachers’human capital development hasn’t achieved a certain height.Research Conclusions1. The shortage of total amount of teachers’human capital in a certain local medical university and unreasonable age structure of high-level teachers;the amount of full-time teachers is insufficient; full-time teachers aged between36and45is the main body of teachers; proportion of teachers with doctoral degree is low; the problem of aging teaching staff is serious, and proportion of teachers with senior professional technical position, who are under the age of35, is low.2. Obvious effect of existing developmental measures but without sufficient consideration of sorting;Remarkable accomplishments have been achieved by the measur俄s of teaching and scientific research awards, and financial support for further study in universities at home and abroad. But the measures for development are made without full consideration of different subject background and growing environment of teachers’human capital.3. The development of teachers’human capital has researched a certain level, yet requires to be improved; According to the results of this study, in recent five years, there is a small number of teachers with Master or PHD degree, who are graduated from"985or211" colleges and universities; some improvement in the number of teachers who take further study at home and abroad with financial support has been found recently; some national conferences and academic reports with height influence are held less.Suggestions1. Recruiting new teachers through multiple level ways to ease the shortage of total number of teachers;2. Further study of suitable ways and investment for all kinds of teachers’human capital development;3. Further improvement of the platform height of teachers’human capital development;Originality of the PaperProviding reference for the teachers’human capital development of the colleges and universities of the same kind with the actual strategic measures in a certain provincial medical university.Further Research Assumptions1.The strategic measures for the teachers’ human capital development of local medical colleges and universities should be further improved with reality;2.Collect the data of developmental research on teachers’ human capital of other schools with similar level, discipline scope and characteristics. Find the gap and identify the clear position through lateral comparison analysis in order to analyze the reasons.
