High school students’thought is more mature than junior high school students, they have more thought in the view of a few problems, have contradictions and conflicts with teachers. Traditional teaching overemphasizes teacher’s authority, the objectivity of knowledge, teaching process mechanization, stylized, neglecting the students’ autonomy and difference, is not conducive to the healthy development of students. As the curriculum of moral education, high school ideological and political class implements generative teaching, overcoming these shortcomings effectively. From "pre-determination " to " generation ", conduce to carry out the thought of "people-oriented", promote the growth of teachers and students. The paper firstly describes the background, significance, current situation, method and innovation of research. The second part provides an overview of the high school ideological and political class of generative teaching, including its connotation, basic characteristics:subjectivity, situational, process, interactive; theoretical basis:Marxist view of practice, thought resources: humanism teaching theory, learning theory of constructivism. The third part elaborated the current situation of generative teaching in high school ideological and political class, including the achievements and problems:three dimensional objectives focus on knowledge, despise the ideological education; teaching evaluation value results, despise the process; teaching generate too casual, the situation is out of control; students can not adapt to the generative learning. Analyze briefly the reasons from the country, school, teacher and student. The fourth part for the above problems, from four angles of the national government, schools, teachers and students to analyze the reasons:the effect of traditional exam-oriented education system; the school’s pursuit of the "utilitarian"; overall quality of teaching not good; students ideologically rigid, the influence of the traditional teaching of thinking. Lastly for the above reasons, put forward some countermeasure:the country should deepen the reform of the education system; the schools should innovate the ideas of running; the teachers should improve their teaching comprehensive quality; the students should master generative learning and change the way of learning. Promote more effectively generative teaching of high school ideological and political class. I hope this paper can give high school ideological and political class teachers some beneficial enlightenment and reference.
