Spring Walking Exercise for Liver is a set of dynamic exercise for prevention and treatment of disorders of the liver, which is created under the guidance of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine four-season health and modern medicine. By means of readjusting energy circulation through the channels, this exercise is suitable for the middle-aged and elderly with soft and peaceful walking.The researcher applied the methods of literature review, experts interview, questionnaire, experimentation and sophisticated scientific instruments to test the physiological indexes of middle-aged and elderly women practitioners before and after three-month practice of Spring Walking Exercise for Liver. By analysis of the results, the research approved the effect of Spring Walking Exercise on improving the liver functions and sub-health symptoms of middle-aged and elderly women, which provides the scientific support for the promotion and popularization of the exercise.This research approves that continuous practice of Spring Walking Exercise for Liver has positive effect for middle-aged and elderly women practitioners on improvements of their body shapes, cardio-pulmonary functions and shoulder joint suppleness, which apparently improve their independence and quality of life. The continuous practice also approved to improve the level of blood lipid metabolism, which plays a significant role in prevention of atherosclerosis and the cardiovascular system disease. The physical, mental and psychological state of practitioners had been all improved through the exercise. What’s more, the liver functions of subjects approved to be improved.
