Teaching reflection is based on the teaching practice, and it is a teaching activity of the teachers to carry out reflective in the process of practice. In the situation of new curriculum reform, the teaching reflection of the Ideological and political class in the senior middle school is of importance. However, the development situation of the teaching reflection at this stage is not ideal, therefore, it is necessary to understand the connotation of teaching reflection and seriously examine the reflection behavior. This paper used the questionnaire method to investigate the teaching reflection ways, methods and strategies of the Ideological and political class in the five senior middle schools in Wuhan, analyze the current situation of practice teaching of Ideological and political class teacher in high school, find out the problems, and put forward some specific countermeasures of teaching reflection of teachers of Ideological and political class in the senior middle school according to the problem.The first part of this article mainly expatiate the teaching reflection theory, mainly including the connotation and the basic characteristics of teaching reflection. The second part of this article analyzes the importance and feasibility of the Ideological and political class in the senior middle school teaching reflection. The third part is the focus of this article, first of all, through the survey of Wuhan high school thought political lesson teachers, we analyses the present situation of the Ideological and political class in the senior middle school teaching reflection, mainly as follows:the personal preference in the path selection process is very obvious, the understanding of teaching reflection is deviated, the teaching reflection just stay at the surface, the depth and breadth of teaching reflection content is insufficient, the reflection environment is not good, and the atmosphere is not strong; and then we analyzes the causes of the problems in teaching reflection of the Ideological and political class teacher in the senior middle school from the two aspects of the teachers themselves and the external control. The fourth part is the core of this article, namely the teaching reflection strategy of the Ideological and political class in the senior middle school. Firstly, strengthen the quality of the ideological and political class teachers, and internalize the reflection. Secondly, create a favorable external environment of teachers’reflection. Thirdly, teachers should try to take teaching reflection from multiple angles. Fourthly, pay attention to the contents of teaching reflection. Fifthly, broaden the ways of the teaching reflection, and flexibly use the method of teaching reflection.
