Yi nationality is the nation which fears death and Pays more attention to the funeral, it has a set of strict procedures for the funeral, including funeral, exequies and sacrificial rites three components. People who keep touch with the family which died a person play different roles in the funeral and they stick to their principle when they took part in the funeral. As Mr. Fei Xiaotong’s "the pattern of difference sequence" theory describe, Z village interpersonal relationship has a center, the relationship is affected by the distance from the position. As to the funeral ceremony, the way of communication, communicative purpose is affected by commodity economy and livelihood patterns, so there are multiple relationships. Therefore, to analyze the multiple relationships of Yi’s funeral, to verify the funeral function based on Z village of Chuxiong Yi’s funeral ceremony scene. To provide some references for the work in minority areas of the grass-roots workers, make them understand the characteristics of national region of interpersonal communication better, so they can work in harmony.The article mainly includes the following aspects:the first chapter, the reason of writing of the paper, accomplishments have made by other people, methods the paper uses.The second chapter is about showing the funeral ceremony in Z village on detail which take a death case from Z village. The third chapter analyses complex interpersonal relationship. The forth chapter analyses the phenomenon which people help each other, and the member who took part in the funeral ceremony, and the principle of participation. Finally, the article will focus on the characteristics of the Z village of interpersonal communication, analyses the reason which influence interpersonal communication and get the significance of people participate in the funeral.
