| Learning Through Play Module is a type of playful learning.In order to explore the impact of Learning Through Play Module on the perspective-taking of middle class children,this study attempts to apply the Learning Through Play Module to the practice of kindergarten game activities.According to the relevant theories and research,develop a Learning Through Play Module program.The program contains a module,which is a system-combined game learning unit method based on improving the perspective-taking ability of middle class children,also known as a functional system that promotes the development of children's perspective-taking ability.This study aims to promote the development of middle class children's perspective-taking through the intervention of this program,and analyze the advantages of Learning Through Play Module.In this study,64 children were selected from Y kindergarten in changsha city to participate in the study.Including 33 in the experimental class and 31 in the control class.There are 18 boys and 15 girls in the experimental class;18 boys and 13 girls in the control class;the average and standard deviation of the month age are: experimental class(M= 53.15,SD = 3.768),and control class(M = 52.48,SD = 2.731).Intervention was performed without any significant difference in the pre-tests between the experimental class and the control class.The experimental procedure is as follows: First,randomly select 20 middle-class children who were not involved in the experiment for pre-testing.Second,the four standardized short stories by Zhang Wenxin and Lin Chongde in1998 and the rotating tray task of Susan M.Burns and Charles J.Brainerd(1979)examine the perspective selection level(pre-test)of young children;again,the intervention of the Learning Through Play Module is implemented for young children in the experimental class.At the same time,the children in the control class perform routine autonomous regional game activities in the kindergarten;finally,the same tools as in the pre-test are used to post-test the children in the experimental class and the control class.Analysis the argument is as follows:(1)Learning Through Play Module has a positive effect on the perspective-taking of middle class children,including spatial and social perspective-taking(cognitive perspective-taking and emotional perspective-taking).(2)Both before and after the intervention of Learning Through Play Module,there is no significant gender difference in the development of perspective-taking of middle class children.(3)Both before and after the intervention of Learning Through Play Module,there is no significant difference between the only child and non-only child in the development of perspective-taking of middle class children.According to the results of this study,four educationalsuggestions are put forward.One is to give full play to the educational functions of children in the social development;the second is to be good at analyzing the types of games and use their different educational functions;the third is to Use the organic combination of games to promote the development of children's perspective-taking;the fourth is to be good at using Learning Through Play Module to promote social development among young children. |
