Since the Qianlong Period, with abundant inlanders immigrating, the mode of production of Tumed region switched from nomadic economy to agricultural economy. The immigrants who had been seasonal residents finally settled down and gradually shared the same community with Mongols, leading to the change of the Guihua City Tumed Mongolian customs, such as diet, inhabitancy, costume and so forth. However, the Tumed Mongols didn’t turn "exactly the same with inland folks", instead they had inherited and spread their original customs. The thesis consists of three parts:preface, text and conclusion. The preface introduces purposes and meanings of the topic, basic historical records, research review and the methodology. The text is composed of three chapters:Chapter One elaborates the process of immigration from inland and community sharing of Han and Mongols in the Qianlong Period; making full use of the archival documents, Chapter Two illustrates the specific changes in Guihua City Tumed Mongolian social since the Qianlong Period; Chapter Three expounds the inheritance and spread of Tumed Mongolian customs. The Conclusion summarizes the whole thesis in brief.
