Social defects are common characteristics of children with autism. Autism is difficult in understanding social stimulation, the intention of starting, and respond to social and emotional expression. These are limited the social interactions of children with autism, resulting in the generation of frustration, and even spawned many behavior problems. However, improved the social skills of children with autism, to some extent make up for the social defect. Therefore, It is particularly important, to explore to the method of improving social skill of children with autism.The purposes of this study are as follows:This research adopts the single-subject experiment with multiple baseline across-behaviors design, independent variables for the researchers designed computer-assisted social story, and the dependent variable is the social skill of participant. The participant is a children with autism. Based on analyzing the data mentioned, the results of the study findings are as follows:1. Using computer-assisted social story could improve the social skill of children with autism immediately and also continually;2. The development course of computer-assisted social story are the development stage of computer-assisted social story and the implementation stage of computer-assisted social story3. The success factors of computer-assisted social story are as follows:the ability and demand of children with autism as a starting point; cooperate to use appropriate teaching strategies; individualized contextualized teaching materials; make full use of network resources; the advantage of computer-assisted social story.
