Initiative social interaction is the difficulty of social skills intervention for children with autism.Since children with autism have the advantage in visual learning,the intervention strategies and methods based on visual support can improve the effect of social skills intervention of autistic children,the intervention effect of that method on social skill and video model for children with autism have been verified.The social story method and the video model are the representative of visual support strategies,and studies abroad have shown that these two methods are effective for the social skills of children with autism.In this study,it is necessary to explore how to combine the advantages of these two methods.Then,to construct initiative social skills intervention model which is Combined the video model method with social story method.the Initiative social skills intervention model is an urgent problem to be carried out in the special education technical fieldIn this study,Literature research was used to analysis the theories and methods of social skills intervention of autistic at home and abroad.On this basis,combining with instructional design model of Dick Carry,according to analysis object behavior,characteristics of children with autism,intervention strategies,media,training process and evaluate the teaching system design process.construct the Initiative social skills intervention model which is based on the characteristics children with autismaccording to the initiative social skills intervention model,the study adopted the single subjects experiment design method,selected five research participants from a rehabilitation center for children with autism in Hang Zhou.Developing social story picture books and video modeling.then electronic whiteboard was used to present the intervention materials to carry out the research.The study found that:(1)combination of video modeling method with social story method can effectively improve the social skills initiated by autistic children,which has immediate effect.When the intervention is withdrawn for a week and two weeks,the skills of autistic children are maintained and generalized to different objects and environments.(2)the autistic children's social skills intervention from and Procedural rule and behavior performance,can effectively promote the autistic children initiate social skills.(3)the video type of VSM can improve the learning motivation of autistic children.
