Since autumn of the year1993,variety versions of geography textbook have been national widely promoted in China, which marks the geography textbook in our country having been developed from "one plan one version"(an outline around the country, and one version of the textbook) to "one plan with many versions"(an outline, a variety of versions). In2003, the experimental high school geography curriculum standard was promulgated,based on this standard,there are already four published versions of the high school geography textbook so far, respectively is the people’s education press version, Shandong education press version,Hunan education publishing house version and Chinese map publishing house version.The four versions of the textbook refer to different materials, and elaborate the curriculum standard from different angles of light. Studying each version of the teaching material, acquaint us with the curriculum standards from different angles.Finding the flash-points in the content and form of each version, will help us to puts forward some views on the revision of textbooks.In this thesis, research methods used mainly include:literature research, comparative analysis and statistical methods. According to comparative analysis of the people’s education press version and the Hunan education publishing house version,we know, both of them meet the standard.In the respect of activity and constructure,both of the two version have their own characteristics.
