With the promulgation and implementation of "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",based on the "One Standard and Multiple Books" policy implemented by the Ministry of Education,People's Education Press,Hunan Education Press,China Map Press,Shandong Education The high school geography textbooks published by the publishing house(hereinafter referred to as the People's Education Edition,Hunan Education Edition,Chinese Library Edition,and Shandong Education Edition)have been reviewed and approved and entered into some provinces and regions.According to the new curriculum standard,this article uses content analysis and comparison methods to compare the four editions of the new textbooks.It analyzes the compilation characteristics of the four editions of textbooks from the aspects of frame structure,case writing,activity design,and image design,and compares their respective characteristics and deficiencies.It provides reference for the optimization and use of textbooks.The study found that the four editions of textbooks have the following characteristics: First,they all reflect the concept of the new curriculum standard,present different writing styles,optimize and adjust the content and sequence of the new curriculum standard,the textbook knowledge is broad and shallow,and the subject logic is more reasonable.Take the students' cognitive laws as the path to improve the knowledge of earth sciences and highlight the practical qualities of geography.Second,case selection is contemporary,focusing on the import function of cases,but some case functions lack mining.Third,the number of activities is large,the types are diverse,and the activity design is novel,which directly points to the development of students' key abilities and core qualities.Fourth,the types of images are rich and diverse.Images are organically integrated with text systems and homework systems.Images have a strong sense of the times,but the number of maps,schematics,and comics is small,geographic landscape maps account for a large proportion,and some textbooks have low image quality and image content.not serious.Through comparative research,it is found that the four editions of textbooks have their own characteristics.In terms of frame structure,the PEP edition has a large number of chapters,and each chapter has a small content capacity.The order of the chapters is basically the same as the order of the new curriculum standard topics.The “Key Points of This Chapter” and “Question Research” columns are set at the end of the chapter,which is quite distinctive;The teaching edition introduces the "Dialogue" column in the section,which is unique;the Chinese edition adopts a double series(text series + inquiry series)writing method,and the design is novel;the Lu Jiao edition arranges the content of geographical elements from the perspective of the circle structure,and designs it at the end of the chapter.Unit activity ".Regarding the content of" Geographic Information Technology ",the Lujiao edition puts this part of the content in the" unit activities ",the PEP and Chinese editions are arranged in one section,and the Xiangjiao edition is arranged separately.From the perspective of the content layout of the text,the People's Education Version,the Chinese Version and the Lu Education Version arrange the course content in the order of " planet earth-natural geography elements-natural disasters ",from far to near,with clear levels,while the Hunan Education version will " natural The relationship between disasters and human activities” is arranged in the corresponding physical geographical elements.In the arrangement of “physical geographical elements”,the People's Education Edition follows the logical arrangement of “atmosphere-water-landform-vegetation-soil”.Each element has the previous one.Based on the elements,following the evolution law of geographic elements,the layout logic is better than the other three editions.In terms of case writing,the People's Education Edition specially designs the "Case" column,and some cases can be used as the main body of the text;the Hunan Education Edition uses a large number of cases and focuses on designing active cases to increase student participation;the Chinese version design "case studies" topic,The case materials are sufficient,but some case functions are lacking;the Lujiao version has a small number of cases,simple materials,and lack of case functions.In terms of student activity design,the PEP activities provide sufficient materials,the activities are more open,and the topic of "problem research" activities are set up;the activity design of the Hunan Education edition focuses on "progressiveness",the overall layout of activities,and the promotion of geographic literacy spiral The activity design of the Chinese version focuses on“seriality”,the “topic” runs through the entire chapter,and the time span of the activity is long;the Lujiao version focuses on the design of “unit activities”,this section emphasizes “low starting point”,and mainly examines the foundation of students The mastery of knowledge and basic skills,but the operation and expression activities account for a large proportion and the difficulty is high,which does not match the students' cognitive logic.In terms of image design,the PEP version introduces the idea map,which is larger in size and easy to read,but some images are not rigorous.Both the Xiangjiao version and the Chinese version introduce concept maps.The Xiangjiao version has a more exquisite image design and the Chinese version.There are a large number of images,the size of the map is large,the scale is marked on the map,the image size of the Lujiao version is too small,the color design of the image is not good,and the clarity needs to be strengthened.On the whole,the PEP version has the best frame structure.The case design and activity design of PEP and Hunan Education version are better than the Chinese version and Lujiao version,and the image design of the Xiangjia and Chinese version is better than the PEP and Lujiao version.Based on the research results,this article provides several suggestions for textbook writing and teaching.In terms of textbook writing: rationally divide chapter capacity,optimize case writing methods,balance image type ratios and strengthen image design;in teaching: grasp the compulsory one and selectivity The relationship of compulsory one,handle the primary and secondary relationship of the activity column,and cultivate geographic practical ability with the help of geographic information technology.
