| Since the introduction of New Curriculum Reform, the chemistry class in middle schools has become complicated and formal. Based on this phenomenon, the paper attempts to do research on the simplification of teaching, and advocates that simplified teaching be conducted in the middle school chemistry class. First, an overview of relevant research results at home and abroad is done, which serves as the theoretical basis of simplified teaching, expounds its connotation, characteristics and function. Then, through a feedback questionnaire among high school chemistry teachers, the necessity to implement simplified teaching is examined from the perspectives of teaching materials, students and teachers. Moreover, starting from the point of teaching practice, principles for simplification of teaching is preliminarily summarized, a complete scheme of four stages——preparation, conduction, further development and elevation——is constructed. Finally, real teaching cases accumulated from internship experiences are added in order to demonstrate the advantages brought by the application of simplified teaching. It’s beneficial to students in mastering chemistry knowledge, increasing interest in learning chemistry. |
