3-6years old is a critical period of language development of children, language teaching in the kindergarten plays a very important role in children language development as well as physical and mental health. Language teaching occupies an important position in all of kindergarten teaching. The period of preschool is a special "game period ", language teaching with spirit of game is a teaching method that conforms to children’s physical and mental development undoubtedly, at the same time it is the teaching concept for respecting children. And what language itself has inherent game feature also makes game occupies an indispensable position in the language teaching. Given the importance of the game for children language teaching, the author will put view in games applied in kindergarten language teaching. Through observation and interview to language teaching practice and teachers of A kindergarten that has certain representativeness in Wuxi, of, we will find the position and current situation of game in children language teaching, and find the problems and in-depth analysis of its causes, put forward to some specific strategies to help game with language teaching implement, and offer enlightenment and reference for the actual language teaching in kindergarten.This research mainly adopts case study, through the literature analysis method, observation method and interview method, investigating for present games applied in language teaching in kindergarten, and the conclusions are as follows:Current situation of games applied in preschool children language teaching. The main form of language activity is story, looking and saying, children songs, as games organizing less; language teaching game resources are mainly from books and network; teachers are as game designers, organizers, instructors and evaluators; children are more passive to accept and participate in the game.The main problems of games played in language teaching. Including games are with limited resources, the game is mainly as a link of teaching, and its role is to increase the interest of teaching; the game is in the secondary position, game time is not fully guaranteed; the teacher usually emphasis on order and discipline in games and ignores the game’s essence requirements; language teaching games have stylization, game activities are often planed before class; children are lack of experience and the joy of the game and teacher’s ideas about games have limitations.Finally, this study tries to put forward to strategies to promote the integration of the game and language teaching. Specific strategies were put forward in two dimensions:the level of Teachers--update game idea, properly implement the game teaching method, innovate and creatively design games, exploit game resources through different methods, respect for children and understand them in guiding the game, activities and games are carried out for children scale; director level--organize teachers to learn to enhance their teaching ideas; reform the evaluation system, create kindergarten culture atmosphere full of the spirit of the game.
