Under the background of contemporary value pluralism, College student’sinner moral conflicts and moral conflicts are inevitable, correct moral judgment andmoral choice relate to the ultimate moral behavior of college students, how tocultivate and improve the ability of college student’s moral choice has become thesignificant task of moral education in colleges and universities.This research interviewed and questionnaire investigated to students in schools inZhejiang and take as a sample, to deeply understand contemporary students moralchoice status, analysis the puzzles in student’s moral choice, and make somecultivation recommendation of students moral choice abilities based on the result ofthe investigation.We made the moral choice of College Students Survey Questionnaire usingthe method of empirical analysis, based on the moral theory of psychologicalmechanisms and influencing factors of the selection process, we conductedinvestigations and research by interviewing method and questionnaire method.SPSS16.0software were used to process survey data with frequency analysis,multi-option analysis and cross-table analysis method.The survey result indicates that (1) Professional differences: liberal arts studentsare generally higher level of moral awareness, but moral behavior with which isasymmetry.(2) Gender differences:"moral sentiments", boys are more indifferent;girls are inconsistent in terms of "moral sentiments" and "moral behavior".(3) Theone-child differences: non-one-child showed a stronger sense of independence, theonly child performance more confused and puzzled.(4) Source Place difference:students from rural areas are weak in moral judgment; students from large andmedium-sized cities in the "moral judgment" are not clear enough, leading to ethicalbehavior uncertainties.(5) Family economic situation differences: students whosefamily economic situation were good or very difficult in the "moral sentiments" areindifferent, resulting weak"moral behavior".(6) Grade differences: the work of thegraduating students intention to pursue actual, lower grades moral judgment is weak; weak performance of the graduating students to moral sentiments and moral behaviortherefore weakening. Through research, we obtained the following conclusions:(1)through research, we obtained the following conclusions: the current socialenvironment show the complexity and diversity, and so do the students’ ideologicalactivities.(2) Moral education in universities failed in multi-level, multi-angle andin-depth development, failed to effectively play the dominant role of the education ofthe school moral choice.(3) Contemporary college students, lacking in moral choiceability, failed to adequately play the subjectivity of moral choice.Based on the above findings, this study suggests that:(1) Make clear ethicalstandards as guidelines to create a campus culture, moral environment.(2) Relying onto strengthen moral knowledge education, to ensure democracy, openness,effectiveness of moral education in universities.(3) The key is to establish a sense ofmoral responsibility for the college students to play the main role in the moral choice.
